Full Moon Kisses Book Review!
This book is the conclusion to the trilogy Full Moon. In this installment Brandon is preparing himself to take the cure and be fully human again. But plans change with Celeste's ex Nash also becoming a werewolf. Brandon offers to give Nash the cure first because he sees how upsetting being a werewolf is for Nash. Celeste is there for her boyfriend Brandon and her ex Nash during this time. Brandon and Nash even form a bit of a friendship through all of this. Because of this, Brandon is welcomed into Celeste's group of friends. When it seems like everything is going to be ok Celeste discovers three new werewolves. And one of them wants her. Not only that, but the other two take an interest in her two best friends Ivy and Abby. They plan to take the girls during the famous wolf festival that happens every ten years. Celeste is determined to cure all the werewolves, but she has to convince her boyfriend Brandon to go through with it as well. The only problem is, all three of them may not want the cure. I thought this book was alright. I think the added element of three new werewolves wasn't all that great. It did work in building Celeste's character even more. It showed us even more why everyone really likes her. But another guy, Ryder who doesn't even know Celeste wants her to be his mate. He claims to know how good of a person she is. This guy has had like two conversations with her so it's weird. I didn't care for these new werewolves until near the end when we discover that Ryder has been treating Leopold and Hunter like crap. The friendship between Celeste and Ivy was a lot better in this book. When Celeste was in trouble Ivy came to her rescue twice and fiercely defended her. I didn't like Ivy in the second book because she acted like a spoiled brat. I know she is, but she had great character development in this book and is one of my favorite characters now. The ending was very satisfying. I'm happy with the choices Brandon made and how supportive Celeste has been through his journey as a werewolf. Even though there were plenty of times where Celeste could've walked away or gotten back with Nash, she stayed by Brandon's side. I give this book 4/5. I did read it in a day and I was very happy with the results. But I do feel like the other werewolves weren't all that important. It was just another love interest for Celeste for the most part.
